In The Haven Café, hashtags are a simple way to connect conversations, share interests, and find others exploring similar ideas.
When you add a hashtag (for example, #hsp, #slowingdown, or #ChangeIsScary) to a post, it can do a couple of things:
- Links your post to others on the same theme.
Clicking a hashtag shows all other posts that include it, creating an informal thread or theme without needing to post in the same space. This helps ideas, reflections, and resources gather naturally around shared topics. - Adds depth and meaning to your message.
Hashtags can also carry tone, mood, or subtle context – a quiet way to say “this is where I’m coming from.” They often inspire others to jump aboard, and before long, a small shared language or unexpected trend begins to form.
This was one of the best things about Twitter in its pre-algorithm days: a simple tag could spark spontaneous connection, collaboration, and creativity. Café hashtags work in much the same spirit… organic, conversational, and always open to surprise.
When you use a hashtag, it will appear in the sidebar. You can also follow hashtags in your Activity Feed.
