The Edge of Usefulness (Sound Anchor)
This sound anchor was inspired by this Notes From a Slow Coach. It came after we explored the question, “How do you know when an idea has reached the edge of its usefulness?” We discussed this in The Haven Journal Circle.
It reflects on themes of letting go, recalibrating, and moving on. This relates to the ideas (tools, habits, practices, etc.) we hold without knowing why.
Please get in touch if you found this helpful personally. I’d love to hear from you!
Sound Anchors are short, bespoke reflections. They comprise music I’ve composed and words that speak to a specific situation, topic, or experience. Sometimes they stem from themes that arise in coaching conversations. They can relate to personal challenges and desires. Others originate from topics we examine in the Journal Circle. These include group discussions and books we read together.
