Find your bearings when you're unsure which path is yours Exploration Journal

You don't necessarily lack ideas.

In fact, you might have 'too many'.

Perhaps you've filled notebooks with possibilities, started countless plans, or found yourself pulled in different directions by exciting opportunities.

Or perhaps the opposite is true. You've spent so long thinking about what you should do that you've lost touch with what genuinely matters to you.

Whatever the reason, when every path feels uncertain, it's easy to stop trusting your own judgement. So...

🔊 You read another book.

🔊 You listen to another podcast.

🔊 Watch another video.

🔊 Seek out more advice.

Sometimes those things help.

But sometimes they simply add another voice to an already crowded conversation.

This free mini-zine workbook is an invitation to pause for a moment...

...and reconnect with your own.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You might be experiencing a form of stuckness if...

📦 You have lots of ideas and possibilities but struggle to know which ones deserve your attention.

📦 Everyone else's certainty feels more convincing than your own.

📦 You keep researching, planning, or gathering advice without feeling any closer to a decision.

📦 You find yourself returning to the same ambitions year after year without stopping to ask whether they still feel alive.

📦 You're worried about choosing the wrong path and regretting it later.

📦 You know something needs to change, but you can't quite tell what you want instead.

If so, you're not alone.

These are some of the most common patterns I've noticed in Pick The Lock coaching conversations.

If you're a highly sensitive person, this kind of stuckness can feel especially complicated.

You may notice more possibilities, consider more consequences, and absorb more perspectives from the people around you.

The same qualities that help you see richness and nuance can sometimes make it harder to know which path genuinely feels like yours.

Why I created it

Over years of coaching conversations, I've noticed that people rarely lack ideas.

More often, they struggle to recognise which possibilities genuinely belong to them.

Sometimes other people's certainty has drowned out their own.

Sometimes they've been carrying an old ambition for so long that it has become background noise.

Sometimes they're simply trying so hard to think their way forward that they've forgotten to notice how they actually respond to the ideas in front of them.

This workbook is my attempt to turn what I've learned into a simple anchor to get you started...

Over the following weeks, I'll also send you a handful of short emails exploring some of the different ways we become stuck, from what happens when everyone else's ideas feel more convincing than our own, to recognising when an old dream no longer feels alive, and discovering why thinking harder isn't always the way forward.

I hope you'll find them just as valuable as the workbook itself.

I hope they help you find your bearings.
