Strength

Courage to see. Bravery to move.

We encounter walls everyday in life.

We’ve been smashing through them and turning them into memorial strongholds (chapters in our story of becoming), since we were born. We’ve always conquered seemingly impossible and insurmountable obstacles in front of us, and come through the other side to tell the tail.

Strength grows from the stories we live to share.

From The Kota

“Sometimes, I wonder if we confuse strength and other words–like aggression and even violence. Real strength is neither male nor female; but is, quite simply, one of the finest characteristics that any human being can possess.” – Mr Rogers To cultivate gentleness is to cultivate strength. To be gentle is to keep a firm back and a soft front, leaning into the need of the moment and accepting that the necessary response today might be different from what we did yesterday. While holding and building on the lessons we learn about ourselves, other people, and the world, as we go. In this Kota session, we will explore the characteristics of gentleness and how it can give us the strength to face all manner of challenges, desires, and life circumstances.

Are you currently living in the shadow of one of life's looming walls?

If you could click your finger and change one thing about your life right now, what would be different?

Maybe you can think of a specific thing that you want to have. Perhaps it's something, in particular, you want to get rid of. Or maybe it feels slightly harder to define than that.

In this Courtyard workshop, we will build the three core characteristics that can help you face, confront, and overcome the walls you currently face in and around your life.
