Do You Want to Grow in Tune with Your Sensitivity

Based on your responses, it seems you’re looking for a space to explore personal development, growth, and self-discovery as a highly sensitive person, deep thinker, or gentle rebel. I hope I’ve got that right!

One thing I’ve heard from members over the years is how different it feels here in terms of our energy and focus. We make space for slowness, rhythm, and openness to changing direction. I love finding low-stakes, creative, and playful ways to hold big things so we can hear, engage with, and rewrite the stories that keep us stuck, pursuing what we think we "should" be seeking rather than what we actually want.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced, highly structured community with outcome-oriented promises or clear directives, The Haven might not be the right fit. Yet, many who joined thinking they needed that approach discovered something far better suited to them. They found a space to be themselves and make changes in their own way, at their own pace.

Deep change only happens when our nervous system feels ready to act from a safe, anchored, connected state. It doesn’t come from the stress reactions of fight, flight, or freeze that might look productive but often take us further and faster in a direction we wouldn’t naturally choose.

Humans grow in spirals and seasons, not on a straight line up and to the right. That’s why I’ve developed a slow, multi-layered approach to growth here. We mix reflective prompts, coaching opportunities, and community spaces to help you check in with yourself and others as you make progress in the areas of life you want to tend to.

It’s also amazing how much can change without us noticing. That’s why opportunities to reflect, like our weekly Journal Circle, can provide a retrospective map. They remind us how far we’ve come, how much has changed, and how different life is today compared to last week, last month, or last year.

  • The Fireside: My coaching and self-paced courses are here to guide your journey, helping you set intentions that matter to you and take steps to build a life that works for you and your sensitivity.
  • The Courtyard: I invite outside speakers to bring fresh perspectives and practical tools to experiment with.
  • The Library: A curated treasure trove of resources dating back to The Haven’s inception in 2014, including articles, podcasts, interviews, and tools to explore at your own pace.

Sometimes, HSPs and introverts set goals based on what others think is best for them or pursue interests society promotes. The Haven is a place to slow down and consider what you want. It’s a space to reshape the stories in your mind that rely on people-pleasing, keeping others safe and happy, or shrinking yourself to fit into expectations. Instead, we focus on nurturing the creative, authentic spirit within you.
