DESCRIPTION:The Journal Circle is a chance to end the week by slowing down and taking a reflective breath together. There is time to reflect on the past week\, respond in writing to our Gently Rebellious Question For The Week\, and plant some hope for the week ahead. \n\n\n\nWhile the Journal Circle started as somewhere for us to discuss journaling\, it has evolved into a practice in itself. So\, you don’t need to be a ‘journaller’ to get involved! \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\n\n\n\nChecking-in: We begin with the question\, “What’s one word or phrase that sums up your past week?”\n\n\n\nWriting Prompt: A 5-minute quiet journaling session in response to our gently rebellious question for the week.\n\n\n\nReflections: Open discussion about how the question landed for us. This is not about sharing what we wrote\, but more of a reflection on the experience of engaging with it (i.e. was it an easy or challenging one to answer for you?)\n\n\n\nLooking Ahead: We close by considering active hopes for the week ahead with the question\, “What’s one small thing you’d love to do or experience (more) in the next seven days?”\n\n\n\n\nThere’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. DESCRIPTION:Focused time can often feel hard to come by. The Live Cafe is an opportunity to spend 80 minutes “alone together” alongside other members and focus on what matters most. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with those important (but non-urgent) activities. Or receive space for gentle accountability to focus on that thing you’ve been putting off. \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\n\n\nThe Live Café is informal. There’s no pressure to turn your camera/microphone on. You can come for as long as you’re able (there’s no pressure to stay the whole time).  \n\n\n\nWelcome (5 minutes) – an opportunity to say hello and share what we plan to use the time for. \n\n\n\nFirst Focus Block (40 minutes) – we mute microphones\, and play an on-screen countdown timer (you can leave your camera on if you like) and do whatever we are doing. \n\n\n\nHalf-Time Check-In (5 minutes) – the timer ends with music\, and we take a short breather. There’s an opportunity to check in to see how everyone is doing. \n\n\n\nSecond Focus Block (40 minutes) – same as the first one (though it always seems to go faster!) \n\n\n\nWrap-Up (5 minutes) – the timer ends\, and we finish with an opportunity to share how we’ve got on before we close the meeting. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProtected Event\n\n\n\nAre you a Haven member?
