Our Phrase Maze is a great way to knock on the door and encourage your creative spirit to come out and play.
These Zoom gatherings revolve around a familiar phrase based on the month’s broad theme.
We brainstorm phrases, idioms, and related concepts that spring to mind. Once we have some to choose from, we spin the randomiser wheel and select one to explore during the session.
We prise the phrase apart and see what it wants to say to us.
One of the beautiful things about our Phrase Maze sessions is that they often shine new light on well-worn clichés and familiar ideas. Our conversation naturally gravitates to what is alive for those of us there, and we regularly connect unexpected dots.
Exploring The Phrase Maze…Together
We often say it’s incredible how the whole (hive mind) becomes more than the sum of its parts in this context. Due to our diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities, we bring together more than we could alone.
Expect a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where you can explore at your own pace. While it would be lovely to hear from you, there is no expectation for you to actively participate in our discussions. These are comfortable gatherings where people can be who they are and as they need to be.
After the Phrase Maze, a forum thread will be available to continue the conversation, and a Community Gallery album for sharing any creations the meeting/phrase inspires.
